About
The BQYC Sailing School ensures a safe and fun environment for young sailors to learn the ropes out on the Bay of Quinte. The instructors are experienced and certified, guiding participants through everything they need to know to become confident sailors.
The day camp format allows for a structured yet enjoyable learning experience, with plenty of time out on the water practicing skills and gaining confidence. The CANSail standards provide a clear progression for sailors to see their improvement over the course of the program.
Parents and guardians can look forward to the end-of-session events where they can see firsthand what their young sailors have learned. The lunch BBQ adds a nice touch to the day, creating a social and enjoyable atmosphere for all involved.
For those who may have missed out on registering for a full two-week session, keep an eye out for possible single-week registrations after May 31. The BQYC Sailing School aims to accommodate as many young sailors as possible, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to learn and grow as a sailor.
