Jill and the team at Bay of Plenty Coast Rowing Club in Wairoa are super pumped to get you hooked on rowing! Whether you’re new to the sport or an old hand, you’ll find a friendly vibe and plenty of support here.
For those just starting out, the Learn to Row programme is a great way to jump in. You’ll get top-notch training from experienced coaches who’ll show you the ropes (or oars, in this case).
If you're a student from Year 7 and up, you can join the youth Learn to Row programme every Sunday at 1:30 pm. It’s a steal at $100 per term with all gear provided. No need to have any experience—just turn up and give it ago.
Adults, your turn is on Saturday mornings at 9:30 am. It’s just $30 a month, and the first three sessions are on the house so you can try it out. No gear or experience needed.

Already know your starboard from your port? Experienced rowers are always welcome to join the fun and reconnect with the sport.
