Welcome to the Bev Birch School of Dance, a leading dance school in Auckland. We specialise in tap, ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, 'tap'n beats, body conditioning, and limbering dance classes. Whether you are looking to dance for pure enjoyment or serious progression, our school offers a range of classes suitable for all levels.
At Bev Birch School of Dance, we believe that dancing is an excellent form of healthy exercise that energises the body and allows individuals to express themselves through movement. Our experienced and professional instructors are dedicated to creating a comfortable and safe environment where students can enjoy their time while learning new skills and fine-tuning their technique.
For students interested in tap, jazz, and ballet, we offer a range of exams that allow them to assess their progress and move to the next level. Our instructors are encouraging and supportive, ensuring that all students feel confident and motivated to reach their full potential. Additionally, our students have the exciting opportunity to perform with each other, showcasing their talent and hard work.
To make sure that you or your child feels comfortable with our dance classes, we offer free trial lessons. This allows you to experience our teaching style and atmosphere before committing to regular classes. We also provide guidelines on class attendance, spectators, care and safety, fees, suitable clothing for dance classes, and examinations to ensure that everyone has a positive and enjoyable experience.
Our dance school is conveniently located in Henderson, Auckland, with two studio venues. Our main studio is located at the corner of Great North Rd and McLeod Rd, while our second venue, the Henderson Baptist Church Rimu Studio, is just down the road from the main studio.
