Welcome to Blackwater Farm Cross Country Course, located in Norwich, New Zealand. Situated in 160 acres of stunning Norfolk countryside, our equestrian centre offers a range of activities and services for horse enthusiasts of all levels.

The highlight of our facility is our well-drained cross-country course, which spans approximately 1. 7 miles (2,800 metres). Designed with diverse features such as woodland, pits, banks, and water jumps, our course provides thrilling challenges for both horses and riders. The jumps on the water meadows add an extra element of excitement.

Whether you are interested in cross-country, dressage, or showjumping, our venue caters to all disciplines.

At Blackwater Farm, we value the safety and well-being of our equine friends. We strictly enforce a flu vaccination policy for all visiting horses. Additionally, in light of the recent EHV outbreak in Europe and the UK, we do not allow horses from yards with signs of illness or those at risk due to arrivals from abroad.

We pride ourselves on hosting a variety of events throughout the year, and you can easily view and book these events on our website. From one-day events to dressage/showjumping competitions and arena eventing, there is something for everyone. Check our “What's On” page for dates and schedules.

Our equestrian centre also offers livery services. We provide full (part full) livery, ensuring a relaxed and settled routine for both horses and owners in a beautiful setting. Our friendly and professional team takes care of your horses, and you can enjoy full use of our outstanding schooling facilities. With great local hacking options, including Marriotts Way and our family farm, you and your horses will have plenty of enjoyable rides.

Other amenities provided include on-site events and clinics, yard services from farriers, vets, and dentists, ad lib home-produced haylage, and year-round allocated individual turnout. Our purpose-built yard features American barn stabling with 12 × 12 allocated boxes and wash bays.
