About
BMX LVL 3 TERM 1 2024 at Level Up Academy & Training Facility in Currumbin Waters is a class specially tailored for confident riders who have already mastered all the techniques and tricks covered in Intermediate Level Up 2. With the catchy name of 'BMX INTERMEDIATE LVL 3', this class requires participants to possess a solid foundation in various skills. These include being able to perform hops, pump all ramps, drop into a bowl, navigate medium roll-ins, jump onto a box, air below coping, pump vert, execute manuals, perform no footers, rock seat surfs, foot jam on a bank, and confidently reel off the names of 5 professional riders.
In INTERMEDIATE LEVEL UP 3, participants will further expand on their skills and delve into more advanced manoeuvres. Big-ticket moves such as jumping onto a box, effortlessly maintaining a manual for a 2-meter stretch, executing a 360 onto a box, vaulting 1ft over coping, conquering a spine jump, perfecting a tire grab, pulling off a no-hander, nailing an X-Up, smoothly airing the vert, performing a nose manual, demonstrating how to change a tire, and reciting the names of 10 professional riders are part of the curriculum.
The term will commence on the week of Monday, 29th January, and will continue for a total of 8 weeks, culminating on Saturday, 23rd March. Each session lasts for an hour. Passionate coach Josh Khoury will be leading the class and providing expert guidance to all participants. The cost of this action-packed class is set at $260.00, offering great value for the wealth of knowledge and tricks that will be shared with riders.
Participants can choose between two convenient time slots to fit their schedule, either on Mondays at 5 PM or Tuesdays at 5 PM.
