Bodhi Hot Yoga is more than just a yoga studio in St. John's it's a community dedicated to helping you find your inner BODHI. The word "BODHI" represents the state of the awakened master, or Buddha, and our mission is to increase the health and well-being of our community through the practice of yoga. We believe that yoga can be a gateway to the higher Self, and we aim to provide a calm, gentle, and warm space for your practice.
Our founder, Michelle, completed her RYS 500 Yoga training with Evolation Yoga in Tampa in August 2016. She is certified in hot, hatha, flow, yin, and vinyasa yoga, and started Bodhi Yoga in January 2017 with the goal of introducing more people to the practice. Michelle offers a variety of classes, including flow, yin, hatha, youth yoga (YAY), and yoga massage. She introduced the YAY Program (Yoga for Active Youth) in the Summer of 2017, designed to help active youth increase their flexibility, strength, and balance.
At Bodhi Hot Yoga, we have a full team of well-trained instructors, each bringing a unique offering to the yoga community. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned yogi, we have something for you. Our goal is to teach yoga to as many people as possible so that with time and regular practice, practitioners can begin to experience the many benefits that yoga provides.
