Welcome to Body Electric Pole Dance Studio! Located in the heart of Cuba Street, Wellington, New Zealand, our studio provides a welcoming and body positive environment for individuals of all ages, fitness levels, and sizes. Whether you are a university student, a busy mum, a professional, a fitness enthusiast, or someone who is not typically involved in sports, we have classes that are suitable for everyone.
At Body Electric Pole Dance Studio, we offer a wide range of pole dance classes for absolute beginners to elite level pole dancers. For those who are new to pole dancing, we recommend our “New Student 3x Class Pass”. This pass allows you to attend any three classes on our timetable over a timeframe that suits you, all for just $50. Our Beginner 1 classes are specifically designed for new students and focus on introducing the language of pole, as well as teaching fundamental postures, poise, and movements.
You will also learn beginner-level spins, tricks, and holds, gradually building your strength and working towards more advanced moves such as inverts and climbing styles.
In addition to pole classes, we also offer a variety of conditioning classes to help you achieve your pole fitness goals. These classes focus on non-pole based flexibility and strength training. Whether you are a pole dancer looking to enhance your performance or someone from other disciplines such as martial arts, circus, or dance, you are more than welcome to attend.
For those who want to practise what they have learned or create their own pole routines, we offer self-guided practise sessions. These sessions allow students to work on nailing challenging moves or choreography in a supportive and encouraging environment.
We understand that everyone has different needs and preferences when it comes to pricing. That's why we offer a range of pricing options to suit every student's needs. If you are new to our studio, we recommend purchasing our New Student 3x Class Pass for $50. Alternatively, you can access specific classes on our timetable with our individual class options, or choose our unlimited passes for access to any class or practise session within a specific timeframe.
