About
Welcome to Budoshin Karatedo International, the heart of traditional Karate with a global reach. Founded in 1991 in India, this distinguished organization, led by the visionary Grandmaster Prof. Dr. Dibyendu Nag, has grown into one of the world’s largest and most esteemed martial arts councils. As India’s first Grandmasters Council, it uniquely unites a prestigious network of over 160 martial arts grandmasters from diverse styles and traditions.
Unlike exclusive elite groups, the Budoshin Karatedo International Council thrives on community and shared growth. It offers a welcoming environment where dedicated martial artists can connect, learn, and elevate their practice regardless of their background or style. Membership is not about dues but about passion, skill, and mutual respect, granted exclusively by invitation or sponsorship.
The Council’s mission extends beyond unifying martial artists; it aims to foster excellence and encourage development through various programs. With initiatives such as the International Hall of Fame, annual martial arts seminars, and a dedicated martial arts college, the Council celebrates and promotes the achievements and knowledge of its members, ensuring the rich traditions of martial arts flourish.
Join this vibrant community and become a part of a global family dedicated to the true spirit of martial arts. Budoshin Karatedo International is a haven for those seeking growth, unity, and the highest standards of martial excellence. No matter where you are on your martial arts journey, here is a place to connect, learn, and thrive together.
