Bujinkan Ryu Taki Dojo

The Bujinkan Ryu Taki Dojo aims to provide a safe and welcoming environment for individuals of all ages and abilities to learn and practise the art of Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu. The club focuses on teaching effective self-defence techniques that can be used in real-life situations, while also promoting physical fitness, mental discipline, and personal development.

In addition to regular classes held at Powerscourt National School, the club also offers outdoor training sessions when weather permits. These sessions allow students to train in a more dynamic and challenging environment, further enhancing their skills and capabilities. The use of traditional Japanese weapons such as the katana and bo add an extra layer of depth to training, helping students to connect with the rich history and culture of the martial art.

Alan McInerney, the main instructor at the Bujinkan Ryu Taki Dojo, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the club. With a 13th dan black belt and a teaching licence from the Bujinkan organisation, Alan is dedicated to providing high-quality instruction that is both informative and engaging. His frequent visits to Japan to train with Grandmaster Dr Masaaki Hatsumi ensure that students receive the most up-to-date and authentic teachings of Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu.
