Bundaberg Bridge club

Welcome to Bundaberg Bridge Club, a small and friendly club located on Kendalls Road opposite the Airport. With ample parking, the club has been a hub for bridge players for over 50 years. Players of all skill levels are welcome to join and enjoy the fascinating game of bridge in a friendly and competitive environment.

The club offers sessions for beginners who are interested in learning how to play bridge. These sessions are held on Mondays from 1:00 pm, with a 1:30 pm start, and on Wednesdays and Fridays from 8:30 am, with a 9:00 am start. All boards are computer-generated, and hand records are available after play or via the Results Tab.

For further information, the club provides newsletters that keep members and visitors up-to-date with upcoming events and news. The newsletters are released monthly, with editions available from January to December. The club's history, annual competitions, and awards are also accessible for those interested in learning more about the club.

To become a member of the Bundaberg Bridge Club, interested individuals can download the membership application form from the website. The club also has an internal grievance procedure in place to ensure smooth operations and member satisfaction.

Session times for the club are as follows: on Mondays, the session starts at 1:30 pm and finishes at approximately 4:45 pm; on Wednesdays and Fridays, the session starts at 9:00 am and finishes at approximately 12:30 pm. Table fees are $5 for both members and visitors, and players are advised to be seated 15 minutes before the advertised starting time.

In addition to regular sessions, the club offers supervised play on Tuesdays. Starting at 9:00 am, this provides an opportunity for players to further enhance their bridge skills. However, there will be no lesson on Thursday, November 23, 2023, with lessons to resume on Thursday, November 30, from 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm.

For those interested in trying a simplified version of bridge, the club offers minibridge. Minibridge is essentially bridge without the bidding phase, making it a great starting point for beginners. With the assistance of a phone contact or experienced bridge player, anyone can give minibridge a go and have fun while learning the game.

The club also hosts various events throughout the year, with upcoming events listed on the website. In November and December 2023, there are several events scheduled, including a Christmas lunch and the last day of play for the year.
