Caboolture & District Bowmen, located on Phelps Road in Upper Caboolture, Queensland, is an archery range dedicated to promoting the sport of archery in a social and family-friendly environment. 3D Archery, which originated as a means for hunters to practise during the off-season, has now evolved into a popular worldwide sport. Unlike traditional target archery, 3D Archery involves shooting at life-size animal targets made from self-healing foam rubber, mimicking real hunting scenarios. These targets are placed in natural settings at distances of up to 50 yards. A regular club shoot consists of shooting at 40 targets, with one arrow per target.
In competitions, a total of 50 targets would be shot over two days, with the highest score winning.
Caboolture & District Bowmen welcomes archers of all skill levels and ages, with various equipment levels and categories to choose from. All types of bows, except crossbows, are accepted at the club.
