Fort Hockey Development is excited to announce that registration is now open for the 2023 Summer Camps. Camp #3 U11 Day Camp (7-10) STICKS & CLUBS promises a week filled with fun activities and skill development for young hockey enthusiasts in Fort Saskatchewan. Scheduled from Monday, August 12, 2024, to Friday, August 16, 2024, this camp is perfect for those looking to improve their game during the summer break.
Participants can expect a mix of on-ice and off-ice activities throughout the week. From DROP OFF at 8:30 AM to PICK UP at 2:30 PM, campers will engage in a variety of skill-building exercises. On Monday (12th) and Wednesday (14th), they will head to Crosswinds Driving Range for a 70-minute range session with golf pro instruction, followed by on-ice drills. The following days will focus on additional on-ice sessions, including shooting, passing, skating, and small area games. The week will culminate with more ice-based activities on Friday, ensuring a well-rounded experience for all participants.
In addition to the hockey-focused training, campers will also have the opportunity to swim twice during the camp, provided they demonstrate good behavior and a strong work ethic. It's important to note that this camp is designed for those who already possess basic skating skills and are looking to enhance their hockey abilities.
