Welcome to Catherine Inger School Of Dance! Established in 1989, our dance school in Levin, New Zealand, has been providing quality dance education for over 35 years. We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all dancers, from age 2 and up.
At Catherine Inger School Of Dance, we offer a wide range of dance classes to suit every individual's interests and abilities. Our classes include Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Contemporary, Acro, and Adult Classes. Whether you're a beginner or have previous dance experience, our highly qualified and experienced teachers are dedicated to providing personal attention and guidance to help you reach your dance goals.
Our owner and managing director, Cathy Croad, has been dancing since the age of 2 and teaching since 18. With her 35 years of experience, Cathy is a fully qualified dance teacher as well as an examiner for the International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA) and a registered teacher for the New Zealand Association of Modern Dance (NZAMD). Assisting Cathy is Bronya Davies, an associate dance teacher with IDTA specialising in ballet and jazz, and Alina Croad, an assistant teacher who specialises in tap dancing.
Located at 21a Power Street in Levin, our dance studio is well-equipped and designed to provide a comfortable and conducive environment for learning. We offer small and personal classes, ensuring that each dancer receives individualised attention and expert advice in their dance training. It is our priority to ensure that every dancer's experience with us is enjoyable and productive.
In addition to our regular classes, we also offer the opportunity for yearly examinations in IDTA Ballet, Tap, Modern Jazz, Theatre Craft, and NZAMD Contemporary. For those interested in pursuing a career in dance teaching, we also provide the opportunity to study for IDTA Dance Teacher Qualifications.
