Specializing in the Goju Ryu style of karate, the dojo's curriculum and techniques are derived directly from Masters Ggen Yamaguchi and Shuji Tasaki under the guidance of Seiichi Fujuwara, Hanshi. Affiliated with Canada Goshukan, the Seiwa Kai, and the JKF Gojukai, the dojo is also a proud member of the Ontario Karate Federation, Karate Canada, and the World Karate Federation.
Situated conveniently behind Tim Hortons on Falconbridge Hwy. In Garson, the dojo provides a clean and secure training space with small class sizes to ensure personalized attention for each student. Clean change and washroom facilities, as well as ample free parking, are available on site. A designated viewing area allows visitors to spectate during classes.
In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, the dojo has implemented online Zoom training sessions to accommodate students who are unable to attend in person. While virtual training is not a substitute for in-person instruction, it offers a viable alternative for those seeking to continue their karate practice from home. Proper dojo etiquette is expected during remote training sessions, and guests are encouraged to keep their cameras off to minimize distractions.
