CHESSAURA

Welcome to Chessaura, a premier chess academy founded by International Grandmaster Karthikeyan Pandian, the 2018 Commonwealth Chess Open Gold Medalist and Former Asian Junior Champion. Chessaura is dedicated to fostering a love for chess and developing strong, strategic players in a supportive and enriching environment. Whether just starting or an advanced player, Chessaura is committed to guiding each individual on a steady path to mastery.

At Chessaura, the journey is as important as the destination. Emphasizing the process of becoming a strong chess player, rather than chasing quick successes, the academy believes that deep engagement with the game builds resilience and sharpens the mind. The unique training programs, meticulously designed by Grandmaster Karthikeyan, cater to various skill levels and are crafted to enhance every student's understanding and enjoyment of chess.

Classes for beginners and intermediates are led by S. Harini, the Tamilnadu State Women Champion and a Women International Master Elect, ensuring a solid foundation and progressive learning. Advanced players receive guidance directly from Grandmaster Karthikeyan, drawing on his extensive experience and accolades to mentor and elevate their game strategically. Additionally, the mentorship program is ideal for those who are passionate about chess and seek a clear, structured pathway for growth and potential grandmastery.

Chessaura is honored to have contributions from other distinguished trainers, including International Master C. Praveen Kumar and P. Ganesh, both of whom bring invaluable expertise and support to the students. Classes are available every day from 8 AM to 8 PM at the academy, with online sessions offered based on availability.
