Welcome to Chester Croquet Club! Founded in 1977, we are proud to be a well-established croquet club located in Westminster Park, Hough Green, Chester. Our club boasts four full lawns, providing ample space for our members to enjoy the game.
With approximately 100 members, Chester Croquet Club is known for its friendly and welcoming atmosphere. We extend a warm invitation to individuals of all skill levels, from beginners to more experienced players. Whether you are new to croquet or a seasoned player, you will find a supportive community at our club.
Club sessions are held throughout the week from April to September, offering a variety of association and golf croquet games. We also organise introductory sessions for both forms of the game at the beginning of every season in April. All the necessary equipment is provided by the club, ensuring that all members and visitors have access to the tools they need to fully enjoy the sport.

At Chester Croquet Club, we take pride in our achievements. Over the years, our club has been recognised for its excellence in the sport. We have been honoured with awards such as the CA Apps Heley Award in 2011 and the CA Secretary's Shield in 2022. Additionally, we have won numerous North West Federation Croquet Club (NWFCC) championships, including the NWFCC Festival Champions in 2010 and the NWFCC Handicap League Winners in multiple years.
