Classes as they desire with this unlimited membership option $90 Adult Classes Membership Description Fee Once-Weekly This membership allows for one Judo class per week $80 Unlimited This membership grants access to unlimited Judo classes for adults $120 Events Throughout the year, Christchurch Judo hosts various events for individuals of all ages and skill levels. These events include regional and national tournaments, training camps, and special workshops led by experienced instructors. Participating in these events not only provides an opportunity to showcase your skills and compete against others but also allows for personal growth and development within the sport. Gear Christchurch Judo offers a range of high-quality gear for both children and adults.
This includes Judo uniforms (known as Judogi), belts, accessories, and protective equipment. Having the right gear is essential for a safe and effective training experience, and our team is happy to assist you in finding the right products that suit your needs. Our club, conveniently located at 6 Forfar Street within the Sydenham Bowling Club, welcomes both newcomers and experienced Judoka. Led by the renowned Graeme Spinks, a two-time Olympian and seventh Dan instructor approved by the International Judo Federation, our sessions cater to individuals of all ages and skill levels.
Graeme, who has been teaching Judo since he was 18 years old, is passionate about sharing his knowledge and expertise to help others develop their skills and reach their full potential. Assisting Graeme is Kenga Kano, a gold medallist at the New Zealand Judo Championships. Kenga leads specific training sessions aimed at enhancing competitive abilities and achieving gold medal success. The club offers a strong sense of community, where members support and encourage each other on their Judo journey.
