Peninsula School of Dance invites you to join their contemporary dance classes, designed for dancers of all ages. The club offers a unique blend of dance techniques, combining elements from ballet, modern dance, and post-modern dance.
In these contemporary classes, dancers will explore the art of free-flowing movement, while also learning compositional and improvisational techniques. The experienced teachers at Peninsula School of Dance employ a comprehensive training system that focuses on both expressive and technical development.
The classes encompass a wide range of activities, including warm-up exercises, stretch work, precise articulation of limbs, graceful turns, elegant travelling, and soaring leaps. We follow the esteemed Australian Teachers of Dance syllabus, ensuring a structured and professional approach to our curriculum.
To enrol in these contemporary dance classes, dancers must have a minimum of Grade 2 ballet level or be enrolled in another PSD class. Alternatively, individuals with a significant amount of relevant dance experience are also welcome to join.
