About
Crosland Heath Golf Club is a renowned golf club located in Huddersfield, NZ. Designed by the legendary architect Alister MacKenzie, the course has retained its original design for over a century. The Heathland course boasts excellent drainage, allowing for firm fairways and stunning “tower” par 3's that are built around ancient quarries.
One unique feature of the course is that the par 5 and par 3 holes all run in opposite directions, as do the opening 4 holes. This means that golfers will have the opportunity to play in all compass directions, adding a dynamic element to their game.
Crosland Heath Golf Club welcomes visitors six days a week and offers discounted green fee rates. The course presents a true test of heathland golf, with heather-lined fairways that require accuracy and classic MacKenzie greens that challenge putting skills. The club takes pride in adhering to MacKenzie's design philosophies, ensuring that every facet of the golfer's game is put to the test while enjoying breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.
In addition to the exceptional course, the club offers a lovely clubhouse and bar where visitors can relax and enjoy delicious food. The friendly and welcoming atmosphere created by the members adds to the overall experience of the club.
For those interested in hosting society and corporate days, Crosland Heath Golf Club offers a range of golf packages tailored to suit various requirements. These packages include options for dining and prize-giving, and markers for the longest drive and nearest the pin competitions are available. The club's professional shop team is always on hand to provide any necessary information regarding course restrictions and requirements.
Overall, Crosland Heath Golf Club is known for its top-notch course conditions, stunning views, and friendly atmosphere. Whether you're a visitor or a member, you're guaranteed a memorable golfing experience at this prestigious club.
