The Darwin Surf Life Saving Club is excited to announce the upcoming Darwin Ocean Swim event, bringing together swimmers of all ages for a fun-filled day of racing and camaraderie. Whether you're a seasoned swimmer or just starting out, this event is a great opportunity to challenge yourself and enjoy the beauty of open water swimming.
With a choice of two course lengths - 1.2km or 2.1km - participants can tailor their swim to their own abilities and goals. Starting at Rapid Creek and finishing at the Darwin Surf Lifesaving Club, this event offers a unique chance to experience the stunning coastline of Casuarina Beach while supporting a great cause.
The Darwin Ocean Swim is not just a race, but a celebration of swimming as a lifelong sport and exercise. With 200 competitors in 2023, this event has become a highlight on the Darwin SLSC calendar, bringing together the local community for a day of friendly competition and fundraising.
