Dazl

Dazl is a fab dance company and charity in Leeds, UK, started by the wonderful team at Dazl. They offer lively and fun dance sessions for anyone aged 3–19 years, and up to 25 years for those with disabilities. Dazl's sessions are all about having a blast, even if you've never danced before! From Streetdance to Hip-Hop, there’s something for everyone.

Dancing at Dazl means having a great time, making new mates, getting fitter, and feeling more confident. They’ve even won awards like the Best Overall Contribution from Child Friendly Leeds and Outstanding Contribution to Public Health.

Mrs. Supner from Windmill & Low Road Primary Music Federation Schools says the classes are well-organised and keep kids totally engaged. The Head Teacher of New Bewerley School also praised Dazl for motivating and inspiring their children.

Dazl offers loads of dance activities, including healthy eating classes, cheerdance, competition dance teams, disability-inclusive classes, and much more. They’re great at getting even the least active kids up and moving, and they do fantastic work in the community.

For your first class, just wear comfy clothes like jogging bottoms and a t-shirt. No need for pricey gear, but they do have cool DAZL merch if you’re interested.

Class fees range from £1 to £2.50, depending on the session length, with some classes fully subsidised and free! Try to arrive on time, as the warm-up is crucial for getting ready to dance safely.

If you need support, Dazl’s team is always there to help. They also offer work placements and dance services for those interested in hiring them.
