Defence Arts is a Taekwondo school located in Mansfield, Australia. The dedicated and highly trained team at Defence Arts focuses on delivering traditional Tae Kwon-Do and practical Self Defence Classes. All Defence Arts Instructors are fully qualified with years of teaching experience. They are also students themselves, which allows them to understand the value of patience, individual planning, and self-control.

The Instructors at Defence Arts possess the highest integrity and care for all their students, aiming to see each one of them reach their dreams and goals. Offering programmes suitable for men, women, and children of all ages and all levels of ability, from Beginner to Black Belt, Defence Arts prides itself on being a family-orientated club. At Defence Arts, they teach Traditional Korean Taekwondo, incorporating elements from other Martial Arts Genres to provide a well-rounded self-defence education. Taekwondo is known as one of the most systematic and scientific Korean traditional martial arts, teaching more than just physical fighting skills. It is a discipline that enhances the spirit and life through training of the body and mind. In Korean, "tae” means “to strike or break with foot,” “kwon” means “to strike or break with fist,” and “do” means “way,” “method,” or “art. ” Therefore, taekwondo can be translated as “the way of the foot and fist” or “the way of kicking and punching.

Defence Arts also enforces a Code of Conduct to ensure the welfare and safety of all students, instructors, and associated officials. It is essential for all students, family members, and guests to abide by this Code of Conduct when attending any Defence Arts class, grading, or event. Breaches of the policy may result in reprimands, being asked to leave the training centre, suspension, expulsion, or referral to the police, as deemed appropriate by the instructors.

The Code of Conduct includes expectations such as notifying instructors of safety concerns, following directions and decisions of instructors and assistant instructors, showing respect to higher belt ranks, and keeping training fees up to date. It is important for all members to be aware of and comply with these rules for the benefit of everyone involved in Defence Arts.
