Welcome to De Silva Taekwondo – Ealing, also known as Team Warrior. Whether you are a complete beginner or a world champion, we offer expert Taekwon-Do training for all levels. Our classes are designed to cater to children aged 3 and above, as well as teens and adults. At De Silva Taekwon-Do, every student matters, and we are excited to welcome you to our team.
De Silva Taekwon-Do Association was established in 1998 in Wembley, London, and is a proud member of ITF England, the National Governing body for ITF Taekwon-Do in England. As a professional organisation, we adhere to the expert standards set by the International Taekwon-Do Federation. We take pride in our De Silva academies, which are known for being best in class.
One of our standout features is our commitment to training students of all ages. We are one of the first Taekwon-Do schools in the UK to offer classes to children as young as 3. Our classes are specifically split into separate age groups, ensuring that each student trains with others of the same age. Furthermore, within these age groups, classes are further divided based on ability, from beginner to advanced levels.
All of our academies are fully matted and equipped with professional gear, providing our students a premium training experience. We offer classes throughout the year, running for 44 weeks, enabling you to maintain your training goals consistently.
Our class options cater to different age groups. For the very young, we have Very Lil' Warriors classes (3-4 years) that provide an introduction to martial arts. Lil' Warriors classes (5-6 years) are designed for children who have the physical capacity for one hour of controlled martial arts exercise. Junior Taekwon-Do (7-13 years) follows the full ITF-style Taekwon-Do syllabus.
Senior Taekwon-Do (14+ years) is dedicated to teens and adults who possess increased physical size and body control. Finally, we have Black Belt Taekwon-Do classes (14+ years), offering focused training and progression for individuals who have achieved the esteemed Black Belt level.
We are proud of our reputation for sparring competition within our academies. Many of our students have achieved success at national, European, and world levels. Our Ealing Academy is located at the De Silva Martial Arts Centre in Ealing Broadway, and our Wembley Academy is situated at St James' Church Centre.
For all your training needs, our official approved supplier, True Warrior, provides the necessary equipment and apparel, including doboks, sparring protection, and accessories.
Master de Silva has also launched the TKD Tekkers Training Hub, the first of its kind in the world. This online training tool offers tutorials, drills, and exercises for students looking to do extra training when they're away from class. It is accessible to students of all ages and abilities.
