DT Team Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a martial arts school located in Auckland, New Zealand. Over a span of six weeks, students will learn the rules of the sport, the natural progression of a BJJ roll, and two submissions or next steps from each of the most occurring positions in BJJ.
At the end of the Fundamentals 101 module, students will have the confidence and knowledge to walk into any BJJ academy and hit the ground running. They can also choose to continue their BJJ journey by taking other modules offered by DT Team BJJ, tailored to their personal strengths and preferences.
The school is headed by Dre Turnbull, a highly decorated Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt with over 20 years of experience competing in martial arts. Dre has won seven national BJJ titles and has worked with international UFC training camps. As a coach, he has coached numerous students who went on to become World Champions. With his enthusiastic style and excellent communication skills, Dre is able to break down complex concepts and make the learning process enjoyable and achievable.
