Eden Bridge Club

Eden Bridge Club is a sports and social club based in Carlisle, New Zealand. The club specialises in the game of Bridge, offering a welcoming and inclusive environment for players of all levels. The club's mission is to promote the sport of Bridge and provide opportunities for players to improve their skills and enjoy friendly competition.

The club's weekly sessions are held at their purpose-built clubhouse, located next to the Indoor Bowls club. Tuesday nights are open to players of all levels and any system, with sessions alternating between Eden and Loreburn Bridge Clubs. Wednesday nights are also open to all players and any system, with the option of a spare player available.

Thursday nights are reserved for Teams of 4 play, giving players the opportunity to play in a team format. Additionally, the club hosts BBO sessions on Tuesday nights with Ken Johnston's Stanwix Club and Friday afternoon sessions with Castle Bridge.

Membership to the Eden Bridge Club is open to individuals of all ages and skill levels. The club offers bridge classes for beginners, providing an opportunity to learn and enjoy the game in a supportive environment. The classes start on Monday, 8th January 2024, and continue throughout the term. The course fee is 20 per term, with a 1 per week “table money” charge.

Beginners can expect a fun and informative learning experience, with a text book provided and a friendly teaching approach.
