Elizabeth Boardman School of Dance Ltd, located in Peterborough, is a dance school offering a wide range of classes for all ages and skill levels. With our own purpose-built studio, we provide a safe and nurturing environment for students to learn and grow.
Our studio is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including a sprung floor, bespoke ballet barres, a safety-backed fully mirrored wall, stage lights, audiovisual facilities, and a surround sound system. We also have specialist acro mats, air tracks, and tumbling equipment, as well as dance blocks, props, and a large waiting room for parents and guardians. Additionally, ample onsite parking is available for the convenience of our students and their families.
We offer a total of 48 classes each week, catering to students as young as 2 years old up to advanced seniors. Our classes cover a wide range of dance styles, including Classical Ballet, Modern Jazz, Acro, Tap, Lyrical, Street Dance, Contemporary, and Little Stars (pre-schoolers). We also offer specific classes for Acro/Street and Ballet for our Little Stars.
Our principal, Miss Elizabeth, is an experienced and highly-trained teacher in all the genres we teach. She is dedicated to maintaining high teaching standards and has a strong passion for dance education. Miss Elizabeth is also a certified teacher of Acrobatic Arts and a member of the British Theatre Dance Association (B. T.
D. A), ensuring that our school meets the highest industry standards.
In addition to our regular classes, we have a prestigious Dance Company that is by invitation only. Students in our Dance Company attend extra classes for team rehearsals and full company training. They also have the opportunity for private lessons for solos, duets, trios, and quartets. Our Dance Company competes in various competitions and performs throughout the year, providing invaluable training and experience to our dedicated dancers.
Elizabeth Boardman School of Dance Ltd has received recognition for its outstanding commitment to dance education. In 2023, we were awarded the title of Dance School of the Year by SME News. We have also been rated as one of the top three dance schools in Peterborough.
