Emergence is a Yoga instructor and musical instrument manufacturer located in Paraparaumu, New Zealand. Todd Chaplin, the founder of Emergence, discovered his passion for both the Native American Style Flute and Yoga in his early twenties. These two crafts came into his life synchronously, providing him with a centred and creative way to engage with the world.
With over twenty years of experience, Todd has honed his skills and now offers his expertise to others through his classes and handcrafted flutes. His yoga classes are tailored specifically for exploring human embodiment using the ancient and subtle science of Yoga. These classes provide a unique opportunity for individuals to connect with their bodies and delve into their own personal practise.
In addition to yoga, Emergence also offers the opportunity to commission a handmade wooden flute from the lineage of Master craftsman Guillermo Martinez. Each flute is meticulously crafted by Todd Chaplin, the founder of Southern Cross Flutes. These instruments are lovingly made and imbued with Todd's passion and skill, resulting in a truly unique and high-quality musical experience.
Furthermore, Emergence recognises the power of sound as an emergent phenomena. Todd encourages individuals to engage in generative sound practises using their own voice or instruments. Through this practise, participants can witness the magic, joy, and co-creation that arises from the emergence of sound.

The five stars in the Emergence logo represent the constellations of the night sky, which provide guidance, navigation, curiosity, and wonder. The logo itself represents inquisitiveness, with its shape and definition constantly shifting and offering multiple perspectives.
The use of dark and golden colours in the logo represents grounded stability and higher energetic frequency, respectively.
