Empower. Fit, a London community project, focuses on fitness, boxing, and running under the guidance of Michelle, a dedicated entrepreneur and boxing enthusiast. Michelle's journey with boxing began five years ago after losing her mother to mental health issues. Boxing helped Michelle channel her grief and find peace. Recognising her commitment and passion, the gym directors supported her in gaining qualifications in boxing instruction and mentorship, eventually naming her as the Community Liaison Officer.

Michelle's business is centred on working exclusively with women, teaching them boxing skills in a fun and safe environment. Her classes are designed to be positive and uplifting, where women empower each other through self-defence and music-filled workouts.

Empower. Fit's mission is to inspire women to be role models for their families through exercise and a healthy lifestyle. By offering a safe space to relieve stress and build lasting habits, Michelle aims to promote family wellbeing. Empower. Fit promotes diversity and a relaxed atmosphere through its fun and supportive classes.

Unlike traditional gyms, Empower. Fit offers a unique social aspect. Michelle organises fortnightly runs, teaching basic running techniques, stretching, and breathing exercises. She also introduces participants to community gym equipment and weight training, followed by social outings like coffee or lunch.

The feedback from participants highlights the distinctive impact of Empower. Fit. Michelle is moved by seeing women support and encourage each other during workouts, fostering a strong sense of camaraderie. This community spirit truly sets Empower. Fit apart from other fitness options.
