Enlighten Yoga is a boutique, home-based yoga studio located in Windera, just 5 minutes from Orange, New South Wales. Owned by Deanne Wilton, a passionate yoga and meditation teacher, Enlighten Yoga has been providing classes since July 2022.
Deanne's yoga journey began seven years ago when she felt the need to connect more with her body and find a sense of calm and presence. Through practising different types of yoga and exploring meditation, she discovered the profound benefits of these practises. Her nervous system was soothed from fight or flight mode to rest and digest, her mind became clearer, and her stress levels decreased. Feeling connected and grounded through yoga, Deanne decided to take the next step and become a teacher to share her passion with her community.
Deanne's qualifications include Hatha Yoga Teacher training with Swami Sarasvasti in Sydney, Yin Yoga training at Byron Yoga Centre, Vinyasa Yoga training at Yoga Bliss in Bali, Restorative Yoga training at Yoga Bliss Online, as well as Meditation and Holistic Counselling training at Inspire Holistic Training College in Sydney. With her expertise, Deanne is dedicated to helping individuals bring balance into their lives.
At Enlighten Yoga, most classes include pranayama (breathwork) and a short meditation. In addition to group classes, Deanne also offers 1:1 sessions for yoga or meditation. These sessions can be booked for $80 per hour.
Enlighten Yoga also provides an Infrared Sauna experience. The Sunlighten mPulse red light full spectrum sauna features chromotherapy (light therapy) and offers near, far, and mid-infrared sauna benefits. The saunas have the deepest infrared penetration, which can help increase blood flow and perspiration to eliminate toxins such as heavy metals, drug residues, and hormone disruptors. The sauna also aids in increasing metabolism and burning fat, improving heart health, reversing signs of ageing and renewing the skin, and boosting the immune system.
