Welcome to Essence Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, a premier martial arts school located in Belmont, Western Australia. At Essence BJJ, we are dedicated to teaching and living the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Led by our home-grown Black Belt instructor, Jake O'Driscoll, our school offers a safe, competitive, and friendly community for practitioners of all ages and skill levels.

Our team of experienced coaches includes Jake O'Driscoll, a Black Belt – 1st Degree, Ryan Brennan, a Brown Belt – 1 Stripe, Stoj, a Brown Belt – 2 Stripes, Sam Holder, a Brown Belt – 1 Stripe, and Chris Martin. These instructors bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to ensure that each student receives the best possible guidance and support.

We have a full timetable of classes to cater to different needs and schedules. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced practitioner, we have classes designed specifically for you. Our classes include Nogi, Gi, Kids Nogi for ages 2-6 and 6-12, and Women's Only classes. We also offer private training sessions for those who prefer personalised instruction.

Our schedule is carefully planned to accommodate a variety of preferences. Classes are held throughout the week, including early morning, mid-morning, and evening sessions. We even offer classes on Saturdays to ensure that our students have ample opportunity to train and improve their skills.
