Essex Muay Thai Training offers a variety of classes, including group classes and private tuition. Group classes involve warming up, partner drills, techniques, pad work, and punchbag training. All necessary equipment is supplied, and participants are advised to wear sports clothing, bring a towel (optional), and stay hydrated with water. The gym also offers private tuition for those seeking a more personalised training experience.
These sessions can accommodate up to four people and offer flexible times. Bundles are available for those interested in purchasing multiple sessions.
The gym caters to both casual and serious individuals who have specific goals in mind such as weight loss, social engagement, self-defence, building confidence, and even competing. Adults aged 16 and above have classes available on Mondays from 6pm to 8pm, Tuesdays from 7. 15pm to 9pm, Thursdays, and Sundays from 10am to 12pm. The cost for each class is 10, or individuals can opt for a full membership at 70 per month, granting unlimited class access, entry to the gym via a key safe, and access to the cardio-weights area.
For juniors aged 5 to 10, the gym offers classes on Mondays from 5pm to 5. 45pm and Tuesdays from 6pm to 7pm. Cadets aged 10 to 15 have classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6pm to 7pm. The cost per class for both junior and cadet Muay Thai is 6, or individuals can choose a full membership at 45 per month.
