Family Taekwondo

Welcome to Family Taekwondo, a self-defence school located in New Lambton. Family Taekwondo prides itself on providing inclusive, non-contact classes in a safe and friendly atmosphere. With qualified instructors, our school is designed to cater to individuals of all ages and skill levels.

At Family Taekwondo, we believe in making self-defence accessible to everyone, which is why we have no contracts or direct debits. We want to create a welcoming environment where anyone can come and join our friendly family.

Our classes are held at two convenient locations. In New Lambton, classes take place at the Scout Hall on CNR Queens Rd and Fleet St every Monday from 6:00 pm to 7:15 pm. For those located in Eleebana, we offer classes at the Eleebana School Hall on Glad Gunson Drive & Ian St every Tuesday and Thursday at 5:15 pm.

Please note that over the Christmas and New Year holiday period, Family Taekwondo centres will be closed. The last training session at the New Lambton centre will be on Monday, December 11, 2023, and at the Eleebana centre, it will be on Thursday, December 14, 2023. Classes will resume on Monday, January 15, 2024, at the New Lambton centre and on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at the Eleebana centre. We wish all our students and their families a Merry Christmas and a safe and happy holiday period.

We are thrilled to announce the promotions of some of our dedicated students. Lily Oliver has been promoted to 2nd Dan Black Belt after years of hard work and commitment. Alex Lane and Loris Ubergang have also been promoted to 1st Dan Black Belt, demonstrating their exceptional technique and dedication to their training. Congratulations to all of them on their well-deserved achievements.

Family Taekwondo also participates in the Active Kids Voucher Programme. Starting from July 1, 2023, school-enrolled children can receive $50 towards sport and recreation activities through this programme. Please note that these vouchers will expire on January 31, 2024.
