Forthill Park Cricket Ground

Forthill Park Cricket Ground is a picturesque and well-equipped cricket facility located in Dundee, Scotland. Situated within the Forthill Community Sports Club in Broughty Ferry, this ground serves as the home venue for the successful Forfarshire Cricket Club.

Notably, Forthill Park is the first cricket ground in Scotland to feature hybrid playing wickets, with three strips converted during the 2022/23 winter. These state-of-the-art wickets offer consistent bounce and provide a high-quality playing surface.

In addition to the innovative playing wickets, the club has made significant improvements to its facilities in recent years. A custom-built three-lane indoor practise facility was completed in 2017, allowing players of all ages and abilities to train and refine their skills throughout the year. Furthermore, an electronic scoreboard was installed to enhance the match experience for spectators.

The club's pavilion has also undergone extensive refurbishment to create a modern multipurpose facility. In 2018, the pavilion bar and function suite were completely renovated, providing visitors with a comfortable and enjoyable space to socialise. Ongoing improvement projects continue to enhance the pavilion, with the addition of new accessible toilets and a lift to the first floor scheduled to be completed in 2023.

Forfarshire Cricket Club prides itself on its commitment to developing young talent and promoting the sport among juniors. The club runs a thriving junior section with teams at various age levels, including under 18, under 16, under 14, and under 12. Qualified coaches provide high-quality coaching for boys and girls throughout the year, with indoor winter matches available.
