Merinda O'Brien, the head coach of Generation Strength, boasts an impressive list of accomplishments and qualifications. As a powerlifter, she is the highest ranked Australian Female Single Ply Powerlifter of 2022 and 2023. She holds records in multiple divisions and has represented Australia at international competitions. With 8 years of coaching experience, Merinda has helped beginners and elite athletes alike achieve their fitness goals.
In addition to her strength and conditioning expertise, Merinda holds a post-graduate qualification in Strength and Conditioning and Exercise Science. She is also currently completing a Level 2 qualification in Strength and Conditioning Coaching. Alongside her coaching career, Merinda has over 17 years of experience in government and stakeholder relations and communications.
