Father, who was also a jiu-jitsu practitioner. He saw my potential and encouraged me to continue training. I trained under various renowned instructors and continued to compete and win championships throughout my teenage years.

In my early 20s, I decided to take my passion for jiu-jitsu to the next level and began teaching the martial art to others. I travelled to different countries, including the United States, Italy, the United Arab Emirates, Australia, Brazil, Chile, and Argentina, sharing my knowledge and expertise with students of all levels.

I was invited to teach Brazilian jiu-jitsu for the Armed Forces in Abu Dhabi, UAE, where I made a significant impact. Furthermore, I also became responsible for teams in Chile and Argentina, and have graduated over 30 black belts around the world.

In 2022, I founded GFT Rockingham, a Brazilian jiu-jitsu martial arts school in Rockingham, Western Australia. As a 3-time World Cup Champion, 2-time Brazilian National Champion, and 3-time Rio State Champion, I bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the school.

At GFT Rockingham, we pride ourselves on providing a familiar and supportive environment for students of all ages and skill levels. Our team comprises qualified professionals who have extensive international experience. We have successfully taught Brazilian jiu-jitsu in schools and armed forces in Abu Dhabi, as well as in Brazil, Chile, and Argentina.

We offer a solid foundation in martial arts, while utilising modern teaching methodologies that cater to the needs of the current times. Whether you are interested in self-defence, self-discipline, confidence building, weight-loss, flexibility, or stress relief, our programmes have something to offer for everyone.

Our school is proudly affiliated with GFTeam, one of the strongest Brazilian jiu-jitsu teams in the world. GFTeam has consistently won championships at the Brazilian National Championship, and our fighters have achieved major victories at prestigious tournaments such as the Mundial and the Pan Americans.
