About
And its benefits to our community in Tamworth. We believe that everyone can benefit from the teachings of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, regardless of age or skill level.
Our gym is led by 3rd Degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt, David Iverson, who brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our team. Under his guidance, we offer instruction for both adults and kids, focusing on self-defence, groundwork, takedowns, and submissions. We follow the worldwide structure of teachings created by Master Carlos Gracie Jr. , ensuring that our students receive the highest quality instruction.
At Gracie Barra Tamworth, we pride ourselves on creating and maintaining a comfortable and inclusive environment. We understand that each student has their own unique journey, and we strive to support and encourage them every step of the way. Our team of instructors are passionate about sharing their knowledge and techniques, allowing our students to access world-class instruction.
In addition to our regular classes, we also offer monthly Parents & Kids Classes. These classes not only provide a fun and energetic outlet for children to learn martial arts but also allow parents to bond and share their love for Jiu-Jitsu with their children.
Whether you are looking to improve your fitness, learn self-defence techniques, compete in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, or simply develop your character and resilience, we have something for everyone. Our classes cater to all interests and goals, ensuring that each student can find their place in our gym.
