The Halswell Bowling Club in Christchurch is the place for lawn bowls enthusiasts in New Zealand. Known for its rich history and strong community ties, the club holds a special spot in the local sports scene.

A highlight for many is the Sunday Triples tournament, held on the first Sunday of every month (except January). Sponsored by PlumbRight, the next tournament kicks off on February 4th at 12:30 pm. It offers three games of seven ends, providing players with a chance to compete and win prizes.
The club continues to thrive with the support of its sponsors and a steady influx of new members. New bowlers are encouraged, and coaching is left to the professionals to ensure the best learning experience.
Ongoing improvements to the facilities, like upgrades to the Northern Green rinks and the addition of wind-breaking shrubs and an equipment shed, show Halswell's commitment to providing a top-notch playing environment.
