Located at Minogue Park, Moore Street, Forest Lake in Hamilton, New Zealand, Hamilton BMX Club is a family-friendly club dedicated to promoting the sport of BMX racing. The club welcomes riders of all ages and encourages them to give BMX a go. Whether you want to increase your confidence, learn new skills, make new friends, or improve your fitness, Hamilton BMX Club is the perfect place to discover the exciting world of BMX racing.

The club's track is open to the public when there are no events scheduled, allowing riders to use it at their convenience. However, riders are reminded to respect the track by riding only in dry weather, taking their rubbish home, and being mindful of other riders. Fun is the name of the game!

Club racing night is held every Wednesday night from August to May, with practise sessions starting at 5pm and racing beginning at 6pm. To participate, riders are required to register at the club prior to racing. The first three nights are free, giving riders the opportunity to experience the thrill of BMX racing before committing to membership. Hamilton BMX Club offers a range of membership options to suit riders of all levels.

When it comes to equipment, riders must wear long trousers, a long-sleeve shirt, shoes, gloves, and a helmet. Full face helmets are mandatory for riders starting from the ramp, while a regular bike helmet can be used for riders who are only riding half the track to build confidence. Bells, stands, and foot-pegs should be removed from personal bikes for safety reasons. For those who don't have their own equipment, BMX bikes and full face helmets are available for hire at the club for a small fee of $2 per item.

Gloves can be borrowed for free.
