Established in 2014 and recently rebranded following a move to a new facility, the studio has built a strong reputation in the industry. The dance school offers a wide variety of lessons, covering all aspects of performing arts.
Hardy Alexandra prioritises the quality of education and training provided to students. The team of teachers are not only qualified and professionally trained but are also respected professionals in their field. With their extensive experience and knowledge, students will receive high-quality training and develop the necessary skills and techniques to progress in their dance journey.
Students have the opportunity to take examinations in ISTD, RAD, LAMDA, and Trinity Syllabi through regular sessions. There are also performance opportunities, including an Annual Show at Derby Theatre, CYD? Workshops with top industry professionals, and, in 2019, a trip to Disney World Florida for the Disney Performing Arts Programme.
Hardy Alexandra Dance Company encourages students to audition for touring professional shows. In recent years, students have participated in various UK tours, including productions such as Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Joseph, The Snowman, Coram Boy, Peter Pan, and professional pantomimes.
The dance company is proud to have a competitive team that competes at both national and international levels. The team has achieved gold medals at the All England Dance Finals and has been selected to represent Team England at the prestigious Dance World Cup.
For senior students aspiring to a professional career in dance, Hardy Alexandra offers excellent vocational destinations at top London colleges, often with scholarships, bursaries, and DADA awards. Regardless of the career path chosen, students benefit from the confidence, discipline, and communication skills acquired through their training.
