Welcome to Hatha Yoga with Jane, a reputable yoga studio located in Burntwood. Jane Hathaway, an experienced and passionate yoga practitioner, invites you to join her in a safe, all-inclusive, and non-judgmental space to practise yoga. At Hatha Yoga with Jane, the belief is that anyone can do yoga, regardless of their flexibility or level of experience. As long as you can breathe, you can do yoga!

Jane has been practising yoga for nearly 30 years and began teaching in 2016. Her extensive experience has allowed her to work with individuals of all ages, including those with various health issues and joint problems, as well as individuals with prosthetics. Additionally, Jane has had the privilege of teaching yoga to young people with learning disabilities in specialist schools and charity organisations.

Jane specialises in Hatha Yoga, Yin Yoga, Pranayama, and Trauma Resilience Embodied Yoga (TREY). Recognising that many individuals have experienced trauma in their lives, Jane incorporates trauma-informed yoga practises to help release and let go of trauma stored in the body. Through her caring approach, extensive knowledge, and understanding, Jane ensures that her students feel safe and supported during her classes.

In addition to physical poses (asana), Jane incorporates conscious breathing techniques (pranayama), sense withdrawal/inward focus (pratyahara), and meditation (mindfulness) into her teachings to guide her students towards inner peace and bliss (samadhi). Jane's teaching style is supportive, encouraging, and intuitive, and she always greets her students with a warm smile and a touch of humour.

The studio is open to everyone, and a warm welcome awaits you on your mat. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced yogi, Jane, and her studio provide a nurturing and enriching environment for your yoga journey.
