Over the past decade, the club has flourished, with 25 teams and more than 500 players. As custodians of the club, the Hawthorn Citizens Junior Football Club takes pride in the way they play football and in nurturing the footballers of tomorrow.

The club is conveniently located with various grounds for different age groups. The primary ground, which is the home of teams from under 10 to under 14, can be found at Victoria Road Reserve. The juniors, consisting of under 8 and under 9 teams, play their matches at Glenferrie Oval. Lastly, the secondary ground caters to the youth teams, ranging from under 13 to under 16, and is located at Rathmines Road Reserve.
