Helensburgh Cricket Club

Welcome to Helensburgh Cricket Club! Founded in 1882, Helensburgh Cricket Club is located in Helensburgh, New Zealand and has a rich history in the sport. The club currently runs three senior teams, a midweek 20/20 team, and three junior teams, providing opportunities for cricket enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels.

Helensburgh Cricket Club prides itself on offering cricket in a friendly and welcoming environment. Whether you're a seasoned player looking for competitive matches or a beginner wanting to learn the sport, the club has something to offer. Joining the club is easy simply contact any Club Official or attend the training sessions on Tuesdays/Thursdays at the Ground during summer, or Thursday nights at the Lomond School Gym in winter. For junior players aged 8–15 years, training sessions are held on Fridays at the Lomond School Gym.

The senior teams at Helensburgh Cricket Club participate in various leagues and competitions. There are two Saturday sides, a Sunday social side, and a midweek 20/20 side playing in the WDCU. The juniors have teams at U11, U13, and U15 in the WDJCU. With such a wide range of teams and competitions, Helensburgh Cricket Club truly offers cricket for all standards and ages.

Membership fees for 2021 are as follows: Seniors 180, Students 100, and Juniors 75. The membership includes training fees and membership of HCRFC, which covers rugby as well. Payment can be made in full or by Standing Order, making it convenient for everyone.

Helensburgh Cricket Club is proud to have the support of several sponsors. Over the years, Helensburgh Cricket Club has achieved notable honours in the sport. Some of their achievements include being Glasgow & District League Champions in 1978, Western Cup Champions in 1974, 1978, and 1981, and winners of the SCU Trophy in 2008. The team also won the Glasgow Cup (20/20) in 2015 and the WDCU Second Division in 2017.
