Highland Fire Dance Academy is a dance school located in Kelowna, BC, offering Highland dance lessons to dancers of all ages, both recreational and competitive. The academy also provides SDTA (Scottish Dance Teachers' Alliance) medal test exams to track progress and achievement in Highland dance. In addition to Highland dance, Highland Fire Dance Academy now offers Tap Classes for ages as well, providing a well-rounded dance education for students.
The academy is owned and directed by Patricia Logan-Krogstad, a Full Member of the Scottish Dance Teachers' Alliance with a background in Kinesiology, holding a Masters degree in the field. Tricia, as she is known to her students, has been teaching dance since 1992 and brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her role. Tricia's own dance journey began in Kelowna under the teachings of Lori Larson, and she went on to achieve success in competitions across Canada, the western USA, and Scotland.

The academy has a track record of producing top dancers who have represented BC at national and international competitions. Tricia's diverse background in dance, including Highland, ballet, tap, jazz, and music, ensures that students receive a comprehensive dance education that fosters both technical skill and artistic expression.
