Welcome to Hilton Hall Dance Academy, located on the first floor of Raglan House in St. Peters Street, Maidstone, Kent. Established in 1994, Hilton Hall Dance Academy offers a range of classes for dancers of all levels and ages.
The academy boasts three fully equipped dance and drama studios, complete with sprung floors, mirrors, and fixed wall barres. These excellent facilities provide the ideal environment for students to learn and perfect their dance skills. Additional amenities include a changing room, waiting area, and reception.
Hilton Hall Dance Academy follows the syllabus of the prestigious Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) in Ballet, Tap, Modern, and Jazz. These classes are available for regular members, who are encouraged to take ISTD exams. The exams cater to both aspiring professional dancers and those who enjoy dance as a leisure activity.
In addition to the traditional dance styles, Hilton Hall Dance Academy also offers Street dance, Drama, Singing, Musical Theatre, and Acrobatic Arts classes. Open classes are available to all on a pay-as-you-go basis, providing flexibility for those who desire to explore multiple dance styles or simply enjoy dance as a recreational activity.
The academy is proud to produce an annual show at the end of the spring term, featuring performances from all its pupils. Additionally, Hilton Hall Dance Academy's Competitive Team participates in Dance Festivals and has had the privilege of performing at prestigious venues such as Her Majesty's Theatre in London.
The academy constantly seeks new performance opportunities for its talented pupils. Some of their past performances include appearances at Dance World, Earls Court, The Kent County Show, The Jeanne Hachette Festival in Beauvais, France, Disneyland Paris, 'Move It', the London Palladium, and even on television shows like Basil Brush Series Two, Globo Loco Series One and Two, and Ministry of Mayhem for CITV.
