All participants in the club's boxing programmes are considered “Competition Boxer” members.
In addition to competitive boxing, the club also offers recreational boxing training. This includes classes for individuals aged 11 and older who wish to train as boxers but may not want to compete. These classes are non-contact. Additionally, adults who are interested in using boxing techniques and equipment for fitness can join specific sessions.
All training is boxing-based and delivered by qualified boxing coaches. It is important to note that the club is not a commercial gym and does not offer general fitness classes or personal training sessions. Such services are available at nearby gyms.
Aside from boxing training, Holmes Chapel Boxing Club provides community support through various initiatives. In partnership with local schools, the club offers classes and tailored services. The coaching team at Holmes Chapel Boxing Club consists of qualified boxing coaches who are dedicated to delivering high-quality training. The team includes Marcus Amrooni, an England Boxing Level 2 Coach, Andy Anderson, an England Boxing Level 1 Coach, Holly Hunter, Kerry Chalk, an England Boxing Level 2 Coach, Talent Pathway Coach, and Female Coach.
Holmes Chapel Boxing Club and its work with young people, as well as its larger competitive boxing activities, remain at the core of the club's mission. However, the club also aims to foster a sense of community and accessibility for as many people as possible. The Holmes Chapel Boxing Foundation enables the club to achieve these wider goals and maximise the use of their new facilities in Station Yard.
