About
Everyone, regardless of their fitness level or goals. Hunter Strength and Performance, located in Beresfield, is the strongest gym in the Hunter region. With a focus on strength and performance, they provide a supportive and welcoming environment where individuals are celebrated for their unique strengths.
Unlike commercial gyms that prioritise appearances, Hunter Strength and Performance is not in the business of making you “skinny. ” They don't have fancy mirrors or beauty bars, endless rows of cardio equipment, or exercise machines. Instead, you'll find heavy music and lifting equipment that will help you reach your strength and physique goals.
At Hunter Strength and Performance, there is no need to fit a particular image or feel limited by training options. They offer programmes, 24/7 training, and an in-house nutritionist to help you achieve any goal, regardless of your level of experience, age, gender, or body type. The gym also has enough equipment to ensure that you won't have to wait for your turn.
For powerlifters, Hunter Strength and Performance provides equipment and coaching for any federation in Australia. Whether you're a novice or competing at an international level, they offer powerlifting-specialist nutritionist and preparation programmes. They also cater to strongman athletes, offering training for all levels, beginner classes with male and female coaches, and off-season programming. The gym even hosts novice, state, and national qualifying strongman competitions.
The success stories of Hunter Strength and Performance speak for themselves. Members like Jayden Bartlett, an all-time Australian squat record holder, attribute their achievements to the tools and support provided by Leroy Scott and his team. Kalina Vikilani, another all-time Australian squat record holder, praises the gym's strength community and its welcoming environment for individuals of all skill levels. The gym also has a close-knit group of members who value Leroy's coaching and leadership.
Whether you are recovering from an injury, seeking professional coaching, or just looking for a gym that values strength and inclusivity, Hunter Strength and Performance is the place for you. Join the community of like-minded individuals who are ready to get strong and achieve their goals.
