IKKI Newinn Karate Club

IKKI Newinn Karate Club is a martial arts facility located in New Inn, offering traditional Itosu-ryu Karate classes for students of all ages and abilities. As a member of the Itosu-ryu Karatedo International Federation (IKIF) and the Japan Karatedo Itosu-kai (JKI), IKKI Newinn Karate Club upholds the highest standards in martial arts education and training.

Founded in 1976 in Ballinasloe, Co. Galway, the IKKI Association has nine dojos in Ireland, with IKKI Newinn Karate Club being a leading branch in the region. Chief Instructor Leo Mulvany, a black belt graded through the official IKKI syllabus and validated by the IKIF in Japan, leads a team of dedicated and experienced instructors who are committed to providing top-quality instruction to all students.

The club offers a structured curriculum that encompasses a colour belt system from beginner (white belt) to black belt, with regular gradings and classes to enable students to advance in their skills and martial arts journey.
