JKA/WF Australia is a non-profit organization affiliated with the Japan Karate Association (JKA) in Japan, dedicated to promoting traditional Shotokan karate across Australia. The federation provides administrative and technical direction for affiliated clubs and is led by Chief Instructor Sensei Jason Naylor, 7th Dan JKA, who has taught karate since 1986 and has travelled extensively to Japan to develop his knowledge. It emphasizes training that builds physical fitness, discipline and personal growth, with opportunities to train at local dojos, attend seminars and participate in tournaments. Membership comes in two forms—Individual (contact the club via the Branches tab) and Group (club affiliation with JKA/WF Australia)—each offering access to gradings, international certificates and entry to seminars and events.
