Join the Johanna Green Health & Fitness Team and the Discovery Walking Groups in London for a fitness event like no other. Get ready to step out and explore the beautiful green spaces of London with us on one of our Discovery Walks.
The Discovery Walking Group is a vibrant social group that brings together people from all walks of life. We have locals from north London as well as enthusiastic participants from all over. Our walks are not limited to just the city; we also organise trips to different locations outside London.
Our walks cater to different levels of fitness and experience, ranging from 7–15 miles (11-24 km). We have something for everyone, whether you prefer a leisurely stroll or a more challenging hike. In addition to regular walks, we also hold special events such as the Mid-Summers Eve Walk and the annual Discovery Walking Weekend.
Johanna Green’s Discovery Walking Group is open to walkers of all levels, but we do recommend being a regular walker to keep up with the group. It's important that you come prepared with appropriate clothing and any necessary equipment. To let us know you'll be joining, don't forget to register for any of the Discovery Walking Group walks.
While the longer walks may not be suitable for young children, we have plans to include some Family Discovery Walks in our program. Make sure to stay updated about our upcoming events by signing up for our Newsletter. Simply choose the 'Nordic Walking/ Discovery Walking' option when you subscribe.
