Kenilworth Bowling Club

Kenilworth Bowling Club offers a warm and inclusive environment for bowlers of all levels. The club boasts both a grass green and a carpet green, allowing members to play year-round. With teams competing in various divisions of Irish Lawn Bowls competitions, players have the opportunity to gain experience and improve their skills. The club's “academy” for junior members, under 25, aims to nurture young talent and help them develop their game.

Kenilworth Bowling Club also has a talented group of coaches and umpires, providing valuable support and guidance to new members.

In addition to bowling, the club's Social Committee organises a range of events and activities for members to enjoy. From dinners and barbecues to poker nights and competitions, there is always something happening at Kenilworth. The club also has special relationships with other bowling clubs, including Belfast Bowling Club, with whom they have annual matches. The Minnis Trophy, presented in 1940, is a highlight of the annual calendar, with a collection for Guide Dogs for the Blind taken up at the match.

The K&C Cup against Clontarf Bowling Club and the WH Morton Cup against Leinster Ladies Bowling Members are longstanding fixtures that continue to foster friendly competition and camaraderie between clubs.
